Purchasing Officer - Procurement and Supply QLD

About The Role
We are now looking for a Purchasing Officer – Procurement & Supply QLD to join our highly skilled, procurement team. Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, QLD, you will be responsible for conducting procurement activities across our QLD business.
You will be accountable for
- Ensuring purchasing is initiated on time & in line with project milestones & stakeholder requirements
- Liaison/stakeholder engagement with associated teams and management
- Ensuring governance of supply systems, ensuring purchasing is executed through approved suppliers, and supplier system attributes are proactively maintained
- Reviewing and evaluating technical work
- This is a fulltime, permanent role, and is based in Maryborough, QLD
About You
- 2 to 5 years relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or buying, preferably within major construction projects
- Qualifications in procurement, supply chain, logistics or admin highly desirable
- Commercially astute, with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to work
