You act as the bridge between ML research and production-grade software. SEON relies on a product-led growth approach.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Contribute to the ID Verification ML team, building in-house ML solutionsDeliver high-quality NodeJS, TypeScript and Python code with simplicity, performance and scalability in mindDesign, build, and maintain ETL/data pipelines that turn raw data into clean, labeled, versioned training datasetsBuild and operate data-intensive backend services across training and eval workflowsSupport ML model packaging, delivery, and serving into productionPartner closely with machine learning engineers to translate research prototypes into high-quality, well-tested, production-ready codeProvide expertise, review pull requests and help raise engineering practice across a fast-moving, research-heavy teamDesign technical implementations, break down features into development stories, and provide estimatesMentor colleagues, foster a culture of continuous learning, and recommend new approaches to improve team engineering practicesParticipate in hiring interviews, providing technical assessment and team-fit reviewHandle sensitive data with rigor: data residency and compliance are first-class engineering concernsWHAT YOU’ll BRING:5+ years of software engineering experience (NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Python, REST, RDBMS, NOSQL) backend systems or similar stacksComfort operating in a research-adjacent, evidence-driven environmentPassion for building the scalable data pipelines that empower our ML engineering efforts.Agile & iterative mindset (end-to-end ownership; you build it, you run it)Experience with cloud data/ML infrastructure, AWS preferredExperience with containerization (Docker) and KubernetesUnderstanding of data modeling across both relational and unstructured dataStrong experience in automated testingExcellent problem-solving skillsEnglish language proficiencySEON Technologies collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
