About The Role

What You'll Do

  • Be the custodian of the game’s creative vision, tone, and player promise, and translate it into work that publishing can execute with conviction
  • Sit embedded inside the game team and act as the daily bridge between game leadership and the publishing organisation
  • Serve as the source of truth on what the game is, what is coming next, and what it means for players, across Marketing, Comms, Community, and Commercial
  • Brief and review every major marketing, comms, and community output for creative authenticity, ensuring it tells the right player story
  • Partner with the Chief Publishing Officer and Brand & Marketing Director to shape go-to-market plans that serve the game and the business in equal measure
  • Drive franchise narrative, player promise, and creative direction across reveals, beats, and post-launch moments
  • Protect the game team from operational noise so they can focus on building, while translating publishing priorities into work the team can act on
  • Keep the north star intact on both ends, keeping publishing grounded in the game’s vision, and the game team grounded in player and market reality

What You Bring

  • 8+ years working at the seam between game development and publishing or marketing, with significant time embedded inside game teams
  • Proven ability to translate creative vision into commercial activation without compromising either side, with strong creative judgement and editorial instinct you can defend under pressure
  • Fluency across business models (premium, live service, DLC, F2P) and multi-year roadmap strategy, and how the two shape the player promise
  • Cross-functional leadership and the ability to influence without authority across game and publishing teams
  • Strong player insight, audience segmentation, and community fluency
  • Drive and operating range, comfortable moving from creative critique in the morning to commercial trade-offs in the afternoon
  • Experience supporting or launching at least one major game or live-service title from inside the game team
  • Track record of being trusted by both game leadership and publishing leadership
