About The Role

JD for Radar Key Responsibilities Radar System ADAS Understand automotive radar principles, architecture and key performance parameters. Work on automotive radar systems and their integration into ADAS applications. Analyze radar performance parameters such as: Detection range Range accuracy/resolution Velocity accuracy Azimuth/elevation angle Target classification Detection probability False positives/false negatives Support radar feature and system-level development activities. Understand radar outputs and their application in ADAS functions such as AEB, ACC, FCW and BSD. Testing Validation Develop and execute radar test cases based on system and customer requirements. Perform vehicle-level radar testing and analyze test results. Support test planning, test execution and issue investigation. Analyze radar performance under different environmental and traffic scenarios. Support HIL/SIL testing and simulation activities. Perform root-cause analysis of radar performance issues and coordinate corrective actions. Tools Data Analysis Hands-on experience with automotive communication and measurement tools such as: CANoe CANalyzer CANape Analyze CAN/CAN-FD traces and radar measurement data. Use Python/MATLAB or similar tools for data analysis and automation. Create test reports, dashboards and technical documentation. Vehicle Integration Support radar sensor installation and vehicle integration. Understand radar mounting position, orientation, field of view and sensor alignment. Support radar calibration and vehicle-level commissioning. Work with vehicle signals, CAN communication, power supply and sensor interfaces. Support customer demonstrations and vehicle testing activities. Problem Solving Collaboration Investigate radar issues reported during testing and customer validation. Perform structured 8D / RCA analysis where required. Collaborate with global engineering teams on radar performance improvements. Support customer discussions and technical issue resolution. Contribute to process improvements and test automation. Required Technical Skills 3–4 years of experience in Automotive Radar / ADAS / Automotive Electronics. Good understanding of radar technology. Understanding of radar parameters such as range, velocity, angle and target detection. Knowledge of ADAS functions such as AEB, ACC, FCW, BSD etc. Experience with CAN/CAN-FD communication. Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer. Experience in vehicle-level testing and validation. Basic programming/scripting knowledge in Python, MATLAB or similar. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze large volumes of test data and identify performance trends. Good to Have Experience with Radar Object List / Detection List analysis. Experience with SIL/HIL testing. Knowledge of radar performance metrics such as TP, FP, detection rate and tracking performance. Knowledge of radar calibration and alignment. Experience with automotive OEM/customer projects. Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE and automotive cybersecurity. Exposure to ADAS regulations such as UNECE R152/R151/R159 or Indian regulations such as AIS-185/AIS-162. Experience with automated testing and data-processing scripts. Experience working with radar test equipment and measurement systems.
