LPN Graduate Extern - Medical Surgical, Nightshift

Essential Job Duties: Performs or assists with the patients’ activities of daily living. Assists the healthcare team by collecting, reporting, documenting ,and delivering care to support high quality and safe outcomes. Maintains high satisfaction levels by providing care with consideration of the individual needs of the patient/family and their age-specific/developmental needs. Contributes to a high performance work environment by maintaining specific knowledge and skills needed to perform tasks according to policy and procedure at Good Samaritan Hospital. Secondary Job Duties: Performs other duties as assigned or requested Minimum Qualifications: Education – Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensure – Not applicable (Completion of Indiana State Board Examination within 60 days of graduation from nursing program) Experience – Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Reports to: A Registered Nurse and is accountable to the Nurse Manager
