Admissions and Intake Specialist

Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy Center is currently seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to fill the position of Admissions and Intake Specialist. We proudly offer speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy services in a fun, family-centered environment. As an admissions and intake specialist you will be responsible for managing incoming referrals and the registration process of clients including gathering patient information, obtaining applicable insurance information from parents and scheduling evaluations for therapy. Essential Qualifications: Requirements an individual must meet to be eligible for the position, including the following knowledge, skills, education, and experience: Experience working in a healthcare setting handling patient experience, experience with new patient registration is preferred Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience in a professional environment; experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred Some college education a plus (Associate’s degree or higher) Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in fast-paced environment Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, track information accurately, and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with medical terminology preferred If you’re looking for a team-oriented environment, enjoy working with people, and love delivering an amazing client experience, apply today. Compensation: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Benefits: This position offers paid time off benefits and healthcare benefits if available to work a consistent 30 to 32 hours per week Schedule: Part-time approximately 28 to 32 hours per week with availability to work flexible hours between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday at our Nampa clinic.
