Pastoral Care Leader – Make a Real Difference At Baygold, we grow and manage premium kiwifruit orchards, and we're passionate about what we do. We're looking for an exceptional part-time Pastoral Care Leader to help lead and further develop our pastoral care programme, supporting our Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) workers throughout their journey in New Zealand. About the Role: This is more than just a job. It's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by ensuring our workers feel welcomed, supported, connected, and valued. You'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding worker experience, from welcoming workers on arrival and coordinating wellbeing initiatives to fostering strong community connections and ensuring we continue to exceed Immigration New Zealand's pastoral care requirements. Working closely with our RSE team, you'll be an advocate for worker wellbeing, helping create an environment where people can thrive both at work and in the wider community. We're Looking for Someone Who Has: Experience working with Pacific cultures, particularly workers from Vanuatu, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills A caring, empathetic, and proactive approach Strong organisational, planning, and coordination abilities A full New Zealand driver's licence Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required Bislama language skills, or a willingness to learn, would be an advantage Why Baygold?
