From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.The Amazon Leo team is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking, and self-motivated individual to support Directors in Product Development. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action with strong ambiguity and show grace under pressure.Key job responsibilitiesManagement of complex calendar and schedulingCoordinating travel to domestic and international locationsTrack and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on overdue itemsManage expense report coordination and submissionOrganize, execute, and assist with team activities (meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organizationManagement of team space, including office moves and reconfigurationsManagement of highly confidential informationThis position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.A day in the lifeProactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendarsManagement of complex calendar and scheduling requirementsTracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on pending itemsAct as a liaison for direct reportsDrive key team activities such as staff meeting agendas, off-sites, and all-org meetingsSpace planningTravel coordination and expense reimbursementManagement of special projects as neededHave fun at work and help others do the same
