📍 Position Details

Location: Montgomery County Jail – TN

Schedule: Approximately 2 – 8-hour shifts per week | Flexible

Position: Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Qualifications🩺 What You’ll Do

Evaluate and treat patients during scheduled on-site visits

Provide clinical direction and support to the nursing team

Review medical records, treatment plans, orders, and documentation

Prescribe medications and coordinate outside care when needed

Collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes

Practice according to established clinical protocols and standards

Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards of care

Current NP or PA license in Tennessee

Nurse Practitioners must maintain a collaborating physician relationship when required by Tennessee regulations

Primary care, urgent care, or correctional healthcare experience is a plus

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Ability to pass a background check and obtain facility security clearance
