Status: Indefinite Contract

- Morocco, Nigeria and Algeria.
- Though Hudson Holdings was founded in 2006, the Group’s roots reach as far back as 1987 when the first
- pair of NIKE was sold in Malta.
- Role purpose
- As the Visual Merchandiser for Mango your mission is to develop bespoke visual merchandising guidelines
- for our diverse concepts. Reporting to the Head of VM, you will be the driving force behind crafting
- immersive in-store experiences, ensuring brand priorities are seamlessly incorporated. From creating
- guidelines to training and development, you will lead the charge in elevating our retail environments.
The key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows
- Implement and adapt central VM guidelines, ensuring alignment with brand DNA and local market
trends.
- Conduct regular store visit to assess visual consistency, product placement, and brand
representation.
- Collaborate closely with store managers and sales staff to ensure product knowledge aligns with
merchandising goals.
- Execute seasonal window displays, product launches, and promotional setups in line with brand
strategies.
- Analyze store layouts and customer flow to optimize product placement and enhance customer
experience.
- Optimize product placement and sell-through – use reports, customer feedback and competitor
analysis to adapt VM in support of business KPIs.
- Execute launches and promotions – ensure execution is in line with the marketing and commercial
calendar.
- Support in-store cross-selling opportunities – maintain themed displays and product groupings to
increase ATV and UPT.
- Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, and Operations teams – understand inventory deliveries and
translate commercial priorities into visual action points on the shop floor.
- Train store teams on visual execution – guide store staff on VM standards, product presentation,
and maintaining displays/fixtures with a commercial focus.
- Provide regular feedback & photo packs to the central VM team on local market trends, customer
behaviour, and product performance.
- Support new store openings, renovations, or special events as required.
Expectations
- Consistent application of central VM guidelines with creative local adaptations as needed.
- Effective communication with the central VM team and local retail management.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting layouts based on customer insights.
- High attention to detail, ensuring each store reflects the brand’s premium positioning.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with broader brand objectives.
KPIs
- Stock Turnover: Increased sell-through rates for key marketing styles.
- Customer Conversion: Improved in-store foot traffic & sales conversion.
- Visual Maintenance: Frequency and quality of VM updates as per brand standards.
- Feedback Quality: Constructive insights shared with the central VM team.
- Photo packs: Grading system by Central VM to measure quality of merchandising.
Measuring Effectiveness
- Regular store audits and performance reviews.
- Monthly reporting to the central VM team on key insights and results.
- Customer feedback and market insights to refine merchandising strategies.
- Collaborative assessment of VM impact on sales and overall store performance.
- Mystery Shopper: Monitor feedback/results related to VM and layout, follow up on actions.
- Training Engagement: Track number of staff trained on VM standards
- Timing of Execution: Evaluate stores based on timely implementation of campaigns in line with
marketing/commercial calendar.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in visual merchandising is a plus, ideally in a multi-brand or lifestyle retail
environment.
- Strong creative and commercial mindset, with an eye for design and detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising software and digital tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends as required.
