Maintains a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring that proper protocol is implemented by craft and all other personnel on site. Assists in planning, scheduling, and execution of construction activities including supervision of crews and equipment. Assists with quality control and specifications as per contract requirements. Prepares correspondence with owner and consultants for review. Maintains plans, specifications, costs, material estimates, subcontracts, and reports to ensure latest issues are distributed and communicated as required. Coordinate’s procurement of construction materials ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of purchase orders. Ensures project cost requirements are met and coding procedures are followed. Expedites progress payment certificates, final payment certificates and all extra-work orders as per contract. Other duties as assigned.

Post-Secondary education from a registered Engineering/Construction discipline. 2-3 years of experience working as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry, preferably civil construction. Knowledge of and experience working with BIM, AutoCAD and Revit. Excellent knowledge of contracts, industry practices and work codes. Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision. Problem solving and troubleshooting knowledge. Ability to manage and facilitate numerous projects simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, self-dedicated, and results oriented. Ability to work with tight deadlines, multitask and follow up. Strong computer skills, using MS Office. Flexibility to work varying schedules.
