About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Senior Regional HR Generalist based in Singapore to join our Global People Advisor team. This role will serve as the primary people operations partner for our APAC and UAE presence, supporting teams across Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Australia and the UAE. You'll be a trusted advisor to managers across the region - providing guidance on local employment matters, navigating complex multi-jurisdictional compliance, and owning the operational delivery that keeps our teams running smoothly. This is a high-autonomy role that requires strong judgment, regional expertise, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with a global People <Team.In> this role, you'll:Serve as the go-to people advisor for managers across Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Australia and the UAE - providing practical, informed guidance on people policies, local employment practices, and sensitive employee mattersOwn comprehensive leave administration across the region, including statutory leave entitlements, medical leave, and jurisdiction-specific requirementsCoordinate regional benefits renewals with our Benefits Lead, working with local vendors and brokers to ensure competitive, compliant offerings across all supported marketsProvide immigration support for APAC and UAE based employees, partnering with external counsel and vendors as neededSupport and, where needed, lead employee relations matters and offboarding processes across the region, exercising sound judgment and discretionProactively identify gaps in regional compliance, policy coverage, or operational processes and recommend solutionsCollaborate across the global People Team to ensure consistency in operations delivery and policy implementation while adapting for local requirementsContribute to global People Team projects and initiatives, such as process improvements, policy rollouts, or initiatives, bringing regional perspective to cross-functional workWe're looking for candidates who have:5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, People Operations professional, or similar role with multi-jurisdictional experience in APACStrong working knowledge of Singapore employment law and statutory requirementsDemonstrated experience navigating employment regulations in at least one additional market in the region (South Korea, Japan, Australia or UAE preferred)Proven ability to advise and coach managers on people matters — not just process execution, but providing sound judgment on nuanced situationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work across time zones, cultures, and levels of seniorityStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environmentExperience with HRIS systems such as Workday and payroll coordinationDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalismNice to have experience:Knowledge of employment law across multiple APAC+UAE jurisdictions (particularly South Korea, Japan, Australia and UAE)Background in fast-growing technology companies or the crypto/blockchain industryExperience supporting remote and distributed teams across multiple time zonesFamiliarity with APAC immigration processes and work permit requirementsHR certification relevant to the region (e.g., IHRP, SHRM, or equivalent)Technologies we use:WorkdayEnvoy (immigration)This position is ineligible for visa <sponsorship.AI> at ChainalysisAI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working.
