Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and proactive Middle Officer to support our business, which is minerals/ metals oriented. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, robust risk management, and supporting commercial decision-making across the full trade lifecycle. As the JV spans multiple locations and time zones, strong communication and coordination skills are essential to the role. The successful candidate will act as a key interface between front office and internal stakeholders, bringing hands-on experience in metals trading, pricing, and trade execution. A strong understanding of trade economics, P&L attribution, and market dynamics is essential. Key Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely trade capture, pricing, and position reporting for the Minerals / Metals business Produce and explain daily P&L, including detailed attribution and analysis of key drivers Monitor and manage risk exposure, including hedging strategies and pricing mechanisms Analyze deal economics, market structure, and pricing dynamics Support trade execution and logistics flows for Minerals / Metals shipments Coordinate effectively across the JV's different locations and time zones, ensuring clear and timely communication with colleagues and stakeholders regardless of geography Desired Skills 3+ years of experience in commodities trading support, middle office, or trading operations Strong knowledge of metals markets, with experience in minerals/ metals particularly preferred Proven experience in P&L reporting Experience in physical trade execution and logistics coordination Strong analytical skills with ability to assess deal economics and market dynamics Advanced Excel skills (automation, reporting tools); VBA/Python is a plus Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to work effectively across different locations, time zones, and cultures Compensation: Decided on a case-by-case basis, pegged with the best in the industry.
