Your responsibilities

As

QHSE Manager

at Combi Lift, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems across marine transport, heavy-lift logistics, EPC project cargo, and onshore/offshore activities. You will ensure compliance with international standards, client requirements, and regional regulations while fostering a proactive safety culture and driving operational excellence.

Your responsibilities

Lead the development and governance of the Integrated QHSE Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001

Define QHSE policies, objectives, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy

Oversee QHSE performance across offices, ports, project sites, and offshore operations in the MEA region

Ensure risk assessments, method statements, and HAZID/HAZOP studies are completed for high-risk activities

Monitor operations for compliance with project-specific and legal requirements

Promote a safety-first culture through leadership engagement, training, and recognition programs

Deliver QHSE induction and ongoing training for employees, contractors, and visitors

Ensure compliance with UAE, MEA regional, and international regulations

Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, audits, and QHSE performance data

Prepare QHSE reports for management, clients, and regulators

Lead incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions

Identify and implement best practices for continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental performance

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline

Recognised QHSE certifications such as NEBOSH International Diploma, IOSH, and ISO Lead Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001)

8–10 years of QHSE management experience in heavy-lift logistics, EPC, or marine/offshore operations

Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and relevant HSE legislation

Proven ability to manage QHSE across multi-country MEA operations

Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage

Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and influencing abilities

Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in risk management

Proficient in QHSE management software and MS Office Suite
