Are you an experienced warehouse and retail professional who can run a fast-moving store operation, mentor a team, and deliver exceptional service to industrial customers?
As an Operations and Retail Specialist at the RitterTech ParkerStore in Pewaukee, WI, you will oversee daily fulfillment center activities, ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time, assist walk-in and phone customers with hose and fitting needs, maintain Platinum-level Parker Store standards, and mentor warehouse associates on retail operations and SOPs. This is a step above a standard warehouse associate role โ you will bring leadership, accountability, and a customer service mindset to everything you do.

What You'll Do
Operations Leadership and Fulfillment
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of sales fulfillment center associates to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with designated delivery schedules.
Ensure customer orders are pulled accurately from stock according to purchase orders and/or shipping tickets and seen through to shipping with common carriers.
Sort and place products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to bin codes or other predetermined order (type, size, color, etc.) in warehouse and storefront merchandising locations.
Responsible for auditing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly reports to account for all sales orders and inventory.
Operate equipment including forklifts and pallet movers as needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment and follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures at all times.
Customer Service and Store Standards
- Assist walk-in and telephone customers with industrial and mobile hose and fitting needs โ troubleshooting applications and recommending the right product solutions.
- Complete assigned Parker Learning Institute (PLI) courses and maintain Platinum level standards per the Parker Store Evaluation (PSET).
- Troubleshoot operational and customer issues and make suggestions for continuous improvement initiatives and customer solutions.
- Travel to other Parker Store locations to serve as backup support when needed.
Team Mentorship and SOPs
- Mentor warehouse associates interested in retail operations and enforce Standard Operating Procedures throughout the warehouse environment.
- Set an example for accuracy, professionalism, and customer service in every interaction and every shift.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse activities and inventory control.
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, shipping manifests, packing lists, and shipping lists.
- Experience with multi-carrier shipping systems.
- Basic computer skills including data entry, Microsoft Office, inventory software, and payroll systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide leadership and mentorship to associates.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to pass an MVR driving check.
- High school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice to Have
- Prior Parker Store or fluid power distribution experience.
- Familiarity with Parker Learning Institute (PLI) and Parker Store Evaluation (PSET) standards.
- Forklift and/or pallet mover experience.
