We are seeking a hands-on Senior Systems Engineer to join our fast-growing, collaborative team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a high-growth, innovative environment, contributing directly to technologies that are shaping the future of power electronics. This is a key technical expert position for engineers who have successfully taken power semiconductor devices and ICs into high-volume production and want to shape future architectures.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop power system specifications, requirements, and validation plans.
  • Lead power topology evaluation, tradeoff analysis, and system optimization for efficiency, power density, cost, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with IC design, magnetics, packaging, thermal, firmware, and applications teams.
  • Perform modeling and simulation using tools such as PLECS, SIMetrix, MATLAB
  • Analyze system performance including efficiency, transient response, EMI, thermal behavior, and fault protection.
  • Support product bring-up, debugging, characterization, and customer deployments.
  • Support development of application notes, test reports, and internal documentation.
  • Provide technical support to FAEs and internal teams as part of customer enablement activities.
  • Collaborate with R&D, product marketing, quality, and operations teams on customer programs and product development.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

Minimum requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong background in power electronics and power conversion architectures.
  • Deep understanding of magnetics, resonant converters, switching converters, and power semiconductor devices.
  • Experience with system modeling, simulation, and hardware validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with LLC, DAB, CLLC, multiphase buck, or switched-capacitor converters.
  • Knowledge of high voltage power distribution (48V, 400V, 800V HVDC).
  • Familiarity with AI server, GPU, telecom, or data center power architectures.
  • Experience with planar magnetics, GaN devices, and advanced packaging technologies.
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
