About The Role
Your role As the SUN Divsion Finance Manager and Semi Dry Pump BU Controller you will support the Semiconductor Division, providing high‑quality, timely business and financial analysis to enable effective decision‑making. In this role you will partner closely with the Semi Dry Pump Business Unit VP Marketing and leadership team, delivering insights, identifying opportunities, highlighting risks, and supporting the Division’s sustainable and profitable growth. This role will also play a key role in safeguarding the business from financial risk, ensuring strong internal controls and adherence to Group finance principles and processes. You will; Business Partnership Deliver monthly financial results and variance analysis for both the SUN Division and the Semi Dry Pump Business Unit Lead monthly forecasting for revenue, margins, production variances, and functional costs Lead the annual Business Unit target‑setting process Provide clear, value‑adding financial insight and analysis to support Business Unit management decision‑making Participate in and support Business Reviews with Customer Centres and Product Companies Develop financial agility plans to mitigate the impact of volatile demand and protect profitability Financial Control & Risk Management Ensure compliance with Atlas Copco Group financial controls and processes (“The Way We Do Things”) Prepare and submit all required SUN Division monthly reporting to VTBA and Atlas Copco Group Provide analysis on Capital Expenditure, Functional Costs, and Headcount Drive improvements in net working capital efficiency and reporting Support and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring issues are resolved in a sustainable manner Contribution to Wider Initiatives Actively contribute to Vacuum Technique Business Area initiatives, including systems improvements and month‑end process optimisation Support Group‑level initiatives, such as investment reporting and accounting for acquisitions People & Safety Coach and develop any direct reports and peers, helping to build capability within the divisional finance team Actively promote health, safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and reporting hazards appropriately To succeed, you will need Degree level education Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or eqivalent) with at least 5 years relevant financial experience Fluent in English Strong presenter and communicator, able to explain detailed project data and risks concisely to a wide audience of varying backgrounds and skills Strong systems skills with a proven track record in delivering solutions to the finance function for reporting / BI requirements Energetic and innovative self-starter with a strong customer focus Build strong successful relationships within and outside of the finance team and able to foster commitment throughout the organisation to ensure issues are resolved seamlessly In return, we offer Culture of trust and accountability Lifelong learning and career growth Innovation powered by people Comprehensive compensation and benefits Health and well-being Job location Hybrid This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being based at one of our SUN entities.
