Customer Service Coordinator- IBU at Epin — Mauritius

About The Role

Job Summary

To coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Customer Service team and provide quality service to new and existing clients as per SWAN standards, while supporting the Team Leader in achieving business objectives.

Main Duties

To service new clients from quote stage to processing of proposal, underwriting, policy preparation and sending of policy documents to clients.
To service existing clients’ requests including queries, endorsements and renewals.
To visit client when needed.
To provide support to IBU Representatives for reception, client servicing and follow-up with clients.
To monitor pending cases and follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of outstanding requests.
To provide guidance and support to Customer Service Representatives and assist in the training and empowerment of new and existing staff.
To assist the Team Leader and Management in handling client complaints and preparing reports, statistics and performance metrics.
To act as support to any commercial actions and initiatives undertaken by the department.
To contribute to the growth of an assigned portfolio in premiums and number of policies per client.
Any other cognate duties that may arise.

Qualifications and Experience

HSC holder. Diploma/Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Management or a related field would be an advantage.
Have at least 2 years relevant experience in a client facing role within the insurance sector.
Have good interpersonal, communication and coordination skills.
Previous experience in providing guidance or support to team members will be an advantage
Be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline.
Be conversant with MS Office Tools
Holder of a valid driving licence.
