About The Role
Role & responsibilities As a Screening Officer in the Screening Team, you will help manage the screening clearance and compliance process for KPMG’s incoming student candidates, employee and contractor population. You will be responsible for: Screening and case management • Compile and review screening documentation to ensure it meets client screening requirements. • Screen and assess candidate application forms against a range of entry criteria, including international qualifications. • Take ownership of casework, applications and queries, ensuring they are resolved accurately and within agreed Service Level Agreements, escalating to the Service Lead where appropriate. • Complete compliance checks to ensure cases are screened in line with the relevant client Master Services Agreement. • Follow up with student candidates to obtain any missing information to allow for full screening to proceed. • Quality assurance and audit • Audit-check peer screening packs and third-party screening packs to ensure they meet the screening framework. • Maintain the MI system, ensuring a complete, accurate and visible audit trail for every screening case at all times.
Training, reporting and continuous improvement • Train and bubby new colleagues on the full screening process. • Manage aftercare activities across the Vetting Framework. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the service delivered by the team. • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration • Keep stakeholders updated on screening processes and related changes. • Build strong working relationships with other People and Resourcing Operations teams, supporting collaboration wherever possible. • Act as an advocate for change across Workforce Operations.
Skills required The successful candidate is likely to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and experience: Relationship management and communication • Ability to build effective relationships and communicate confidently with people at all levels. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to influence others and negotiate confidently across different stakeholder groups. • Compliance and risk awareness • Knowledge of relevant screening requirements, with the ability to use this knowledge to support appropriate escalations within People Operations or Risk. • Understanding of GDPR obligations, particularly in relation to handling personal and sensitive data. • Delivery, organisation and attention to detail • High levels of resilience, with experience of working in a highly pressurised, client-centric environment. • Excellent attention to detail. • Strong organisational and literacy skills. • Ability to prioritise workloads independently in a high-pressure environment. Systems and technical skills • Good proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. • Experience using SAP – SuccessFactors or an equivalent HR system. • Experience using ServiceNow – Case Management
