Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Movers / Moving Helpers to join our team in Jersey City, NJ . The ideal candidate will assist with residential and commercial moves by safely packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and placing furniture and other belongings.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that requires good teamwork, reliability, and a customer-service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household items.
• Safely carry and move heavy furniture and belongings.
• Assist with residential and commercial moving projects.
• Wrap, pad, and protect furniture and other items to prevent damage.
• Properly organize and secure items inside moving trucks.
• Assist with packing and unpacking as needed.
• Carefully move items through stairs, hallways, elevators, and doorways.
• Follow instructions from the Driver, Crew Leader, or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Perform other moving-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, or labor experience is a plus, but not required .
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Professional appearance and behavior.
• Customer-service-oriented.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs. repeatedly .
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull, and climb stairs.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors and in different weather conditions.
