## Description

Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn, and we're looking for experienced **Language & Reading Tutors** to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students across the country. **What you'll do:**

• **Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction** tailored to each student's reading level, literacy goals, and unique learning profile.
• **Create structured lesson plans** focused on core literacy components (such as phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, or essay writing) that align with grade-level standards and student needs.
• **Adapt instruction in real time** based on student engagement, decoding challenges, and comprehension building blocks to foster confidence and a love for reading.
• **Track student progress** and communicate effectively with families and, where applicable, school district partners regarding reading growth and language milestones.

## Requirements

**Requirements**

• **Bachelor's degree required**
• **Experience working with students who have education needs**
• **Ability to design and deliver lesson plans** aligned to student goals and accommodations
• **Strong virtual instruction skills** — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online
• **Ability to pass a background check**
• **Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace**

**Preferred (not required):**

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
