## Description
**Job Purpose**
The Executive Housekeeper ensures the property’s upkeep and optimal performance of housekeeping operations. This role aims to exceed guests’ expectations while being cost-effective and operationally viable. Responsibilities include managing the housekeeping team, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and coordinating with other departments.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
_Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations_
- Ensures compliance with all property standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work.
- Ensures adherence to the company's Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times.
_General Job Functions_
- Ensures optimal staffing levels by maintaining awareness of occupancy rates and conducting regular staff meetings for effective communication.
- Oversees maintenance and cleanliness of the resort to uphold safety, hygiene, and guest comfort standards.
- Leads, motivates, and develops the Housekeeping Team to achieve management objectives and maintain high service standards.
- Formulates and implements operational plans for all aspects of Housekeeping management.
- Conducts regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and supply standards for guest rooms and public areas are met.
- Manages inventory control for uniforms, linens, and supplies, ensuring par stock levels are maintained.
- Implements cost control measures while ensuring service quality is not compromised.
- Liaises with other department managers to enhance operational efficiency and address guest requests and complaints promptly.
- Ensures staff training on emergency procedures and adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Performs any other tasks assigned by management.
## Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing housekeeping and laundry operations within a large-scale international hotel environment.
- Proven ability to develop training programs that enhance staff development and performance.
- Strong communication, leadership, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the Opera system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- English language proficiency.
**Working Conditions**
- This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
