## Description

The Junior Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily financial transactions, assisting with month-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Financial Operations**

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and record journal entries.
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash receipts and payments.
  • Assist in managing petty cash and employee reimbursements.

**Accounting & Reporting**

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare schedules and reports for management review.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

**Compliance & Tax**

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and statutory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and internal financial controls.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting and tax documents.
  • Support external and internal audit requirements by preparing requested documentation.

**Accounts Receivable & Payables**

  • Monitor customer collections and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile customer and supplier statements.

**General Support**

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the Finance department.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
  • Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management

## Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field. Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; up to 2 years of relevant experience is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
