Job requirements

Experience Range: 7+ years of hands-on experience in integration middleware platforms, including Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato, or similar tools, with demonstrated expertise in application and platform development Key Responsibilities:Design and implement the AI integration layer, including MCP architecture and MCP Gateway, to enable seamless connectivity between AI agents and enterprise systemsDevelop and maintain MCP server and tool registration, discovery, and lifecycle management capabilities to ensure robust integration workflowsDefine and manage tool schemas, capabilities, and map existing platform functionalities into governed MCP tools to eliminate redundant integrationsImplement authentication, authorization, and session management using OAuth2/OIDC and service-to-service authentication protocolsBuild and enforce agent registration, identity, and permission models to support secure agent-to-tool authorization and data-access policiesCreate and manage risk classifications, policy-based limits, quotas, and human-in-the-loop approval workflows for high-risk actionsDevelop and maintain comprehensive audit trails for agent actions and tool calls, ensuring compliance and traceabilityIntegrate MCP capabilities with the control plane, orchestration engine, and connector runtime, supporting observability, security, scalability, and production operationsRequired Skills:Hands-on experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, Boomi, Workato, or comparable integration middleware toolsExpertise in API Manager for designing and managing APIsExperience with Monitoring and Runtime Manager in integration platformsKnowledge of Access Management and security protocols relevant to enterprise integrationExperience configuring and managing Dedicated Load Balancer or equivalent middleware componentsProficiency with Anypoint Exchange or similar asset management repositoriesAdvanced skills in Python, TypeScript, or Java backend developmentExperience with distributed systems and API architecture in integration environmentsImplementation of authentication and authorization frameworks including OAuth2 and OIDCDesign and management of secure, multi-tenant integration platformsPreferred Skills:Experience with MCP or similar AI integration frameworksHands-on expertise in LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or OpenAI-compatible tool callingKnowledge of policy engines such as OPABackground in AI agent governance and human-in-the-loop systemsExperience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectureFamiliarity with enterprise integration platforms and connector developmentDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related disciplineMulesoft Certified Developer or Architect certificationCertification in integration middleware or cloud technologies (e.g., Dell Boomi Professional Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert)Additional Information: Client is seeking founding engineering talent in India to build a next-generation integration platform, requiring full-stack code literacy and hands-on experience with middleware tools and AI integration frameworks.
