Senior Engineer, Applications & Platforms

Job requirements

Experience Range: With at least 7 + years of hands-on experience in integration middleware engineering, specifically working with platforms such as Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato, and similar tools in product environments. Key Responsibilities:Architect and implement foundational control plane services for enterprise integration and API management platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.Develop and maintain comprehensive catalogs for integrations, connectors, APIs, and policies, driving platform extensibility.Manage API lifecycle processes including creation, publishing, versioning, and deprecation, delivering seamless platform updates.Enforce robust API authentication, authorization, OAuth2/OIDC, API keys, quotas, throttling, and rate limiting to ensure secure access control.Integrate with API Gateways such as Kong, APISIX, or equivalents, optimizing for performance and security.Configure and optimize load balancers and runtime managers to maximize platform uptime and efficiency.Establish and manage DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments, implementing automated promotion and rollback procedures.Define and uphold CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code standards, ensuring consistent and high-quality deployments.Required Skills:Mulesoft Anypoint PlatformBoomi or Workato platform expertiseAPI Gateway integration (Kong, APISIX)OAuth2/OIDC implementationRBAC and multi-tenant architecturePostgreSQL database managementCI/CD pipeline developmentInfrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)Secrets management integrationEnterprise identity provider integrationPreferred Skills:Experience with Celigo or other iPaaS platformsPolicy engine integration (e.g., OPA)Event-driven architecture and messaging systemsAPI/developer portal implementationAudit and observability foundationsDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related fieldMuleSoft Certified Developer or equivalent integration platform certificationCertification in API management or cloud-native architectures (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Professional Cloud Developer)
