About The Role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Mental Health Team, based in Hounslow.
This role focuses on supporting adults with complex and enduring mental health needs, including individuals presenting with dual diagnosis, neurodiversity, learning disabilities, trauma, personality disorders, and forensic backgrounds. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions while effectively assessing and managing risk. This is an excellent opportunity for a resilient and skilled practitioner who thrives in complex environments and is confident working within statutory frameworks, safeguarding processes, and multi-agency settings.
What will your responsibilities be?
Manage a caseload of adults with severe and complex mental health needs, delivering outcome-focused and person-centred interventions
Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments, reviews, and care planning
Complete robust risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies in high-risk cases
Work with individuals presenting with dual diagnosis, neurodiversity, learning disabilities, trauma, personality disorders, and forensic background.
Operate within key legislative frameworks including the Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014, and Human Rights Act 1998
Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and contribute to Best Interests decision-making processes
Lead and contribute to safeguarding activity, including Section 42 enquiries and Safeguarding Adults procedures
Undertake Court of Protection work, including report writing and attendance
Work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams including health, housing, and partner agencies
Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records and reports
Demonstrate professional curiosity, sound judgement, and evidence-based decision-making
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role you must have;
Social Work England registration
Eligible to work in the UK
Hold a full UK driving licence
Post-qualified experience
Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
