Assistant General Manager

Amvee Corporation, a leader in the restaurant industry and Convenience store industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team over at our Millbrook Market location. This pivotal role requires a highly organized and results-driven professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and excellent customer service. The Assistant General Manager will play an integral part in supporting the General Manager in daily operations, staff management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Range: $21 to $23 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise and train restaurant staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene compliance with all health regulations.
• Manage employee scheduling to optimize labor costs while meeting business needs.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and control costs to maximize profitability.
• Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to maintain a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional events.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures across all operational areas.
• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar role within the restaurant industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle challenging situations calmly.
• Proficiency in inventory management and cost control practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
