Ashlawn House Nursing Home is a 52-bed private nursing home located in Carrigatoher, 3.5 miles from Nenagh, Co Tipperary (Eircode E45FA31). We provide quality, person-centered residential care for both long and short stays. The role of HCA is to work in conjunction with management and nursing staff to provide person-centered care for our residents, whilst assisting with activities of daily living. We are recruiting for full-time positions. The role is subject to Garda Vetting and reference checks,

The purpose of the role of HCA is to provide a 'home away from home' caring environment for our residents and assist them in continuing to live independent, fulfilled lives with respect, privacy and dignity. The successful candidate will work 39-hours per week.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support

• Relevant experience along with good communication skills.
• Good command of the English language both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have a kind and compassionate nature.
• Training will be provided.
