That's where YOU come in!🎯 Your ImpactAs an After School ASL Instructor, you'll be the highlight of students' days! In this class, students are introduced to the world of sign language by learning how to sign the alphabet, numbers, emotions, names, places, and much more! You'll lead interactive activities such as storytelling, games, and multimedia, to help students explore sign language in an enjoyable, memorable way while learning a valuable life skill.✨ What You'll DoTeach engaging ASL classes to groups of 20 students (K-8th grade)Lead hands-on activities that bring learning to lifeCreate a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environmentFollow our proven lesson plans (we've done the hard work for you!)Drive to different school sites with provided materialsCommunicate professionally with our supportive internal teamOrganize safe dismissal and leave classrooms cleanMost importantly: HAVE FUN and inspire kids!👤 Our Ideal CandidateWe're looking for someone who is:At least proficient in ASL Enthusiastic: Your energy is contagious and kids gravitate toward youReliable: You show up on time and kids can count on youOrganized: You can manage materials and classroom activities smoothlyFlexible: You adapt to different environments and student needsEmpathetic: You connect with kids and understand their perspectivesProfessional: You communicate well and represent our mission📍 Location & ScheduleServing Bellflower, CAHours Vary (Part-Time): Up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 1-6 PM Required Availability: At least 3-days per week between 1-6 PMNext steps:Thank you for taking the time to apply to Parker-Anderson Enrichment!
