JOB TITLE: Inventory Control Lead LOCATION: Lehi, UT DEPARTMENT: Receiving/Replenishment REPORTS TO: Receiving/Replenishment Manager JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 8 AM-4 PM POSITION SUMMARY The Inventory Control Lead is a critical role responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels across all product lines at Baltic Born. This position plays a vital part in maintaining product availability, minimizing stockouts, and supporting efficient order fulfillment. As a leader at Baltic Born, you are an extension of the owners and expected to maintain an upbeat, drama-free environment for your team. This role includes overseeing the replenishment process, analyzing inventory data, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a smooth and continuous flow of goods from receiving to the fulfillment floor. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to inventory management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and execute daily replenishment tasks to ensure products are moved from back stock to active picking locations efficiently. Monitor inventory levels and identify items requiring replenishment based on sales data, forecasts, and current stock. Coordinate with the Receiving Department to ensure timely processing of incoming inventory for replenishment. Collaborate with the Fulfillment Department to understand their needs and ensure replenishment activities support their operational flow. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement, locations, and replenishment status. Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and replenishment activities. Implement and improve processes to optimize replenishment efficiency and accuracy. Train and mentor replenishment team members on best practices and system usage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe replenishment area, adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. Generate reports on replenishment performance, stock levels, and potential issues for management review. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits as needed. Communicate any inventory-related issues or potential stockouts to the Receiving/Replenishment Manager and relevant departments. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks and forklifts). QUALIFICATIONS 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or replenishment roles, with some experience acting in a supervisory capacity. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office. Experience with Shopify and ShipHero is a plus. Understanding of inventory control principles, lean operating principles, and process improvement methodologies. KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet daily goals. Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends as work load requires. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
