Overview Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech in a travel assignment for a surgery center in Vail, Colorado. Start date 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,744 to $1,828 per week with guaranteed 32 hours per week on day shifts. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,744–$1,828 per week - Guaranteed hours: 32 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Days - Start date: 09/21/2026 - Work setting: Travel assignment in a surgery center Responsibilities - Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile field and handing instruments to the surgical team as needed - Maintain and check instrument packs, packaging integrity, and sterility; ensure equipment and environment support patient safety - Monitor sterile field for contamination or disruption and take corrective action under supervision - Participate in perioperative teamwork with clear communication, including Time Out, briefings, and debriefings - Assist with patient transport, room turnover, and room preparation; support efficient OR turnover - Demonstrate professional behavior and ongoing competency in instrumentation and new technologies; uphold HIPAA standards - Prepare instruments for terminal sterilization and support adherence to aseptic techniques - Exhibit safe, collaborative practice and contribute to a Just Culture environment Requirements - Licensure: Colorado-licensed Surgical Technologist (or eligible as a Licensed Surgical Technologist) - Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association - Education: Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or licensure as a Surgical Technologist - Experience: Relevant surgical technology experience, with competency in sterile technique and perioperative instrumentation - Skills: Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) and basic computer skills or ability to obtain them within 90 days for online learning and onboarding - Physical/setting requirements: Able to work in an operative setting and perform duties that require standing, lifting, and handling sterile equipment as described in the job duties Benefits and Support - Assignment-specific support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, including access to a dedicated recruiter - Ongoing support throughout the travel assignment - Credentialing and onboarding assistance to help you arrive prepared for the start date - Compliance and safety resources to support a safe working environment Find more opportunities If you’d like to explore other openings, please apply at <https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply> Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
