About The Role

HR Manager

📍 Pernambuco, Brazil (On-site)

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support and lead human resources activities within a large-scale industrial operation undergoing a significant growth and transformation phase.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in dynamic industrial environments and enjoys building strong HR practices that directly support business performance and workforce development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HR operations for an industrial site environment
  • Partner with operational leadership to support workforce planning and organizational development
  • Drive employee relations and industrial relations initiatives
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and governance practices
  • Support talent acquisition efforts for technical and blue-collar populations
  • Foster employee engagement, retention, and workforce stability
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with unions, local institutions, and external stakeholders
  • Support organizational change, growth initiatives, and capability development programs

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • Significant HR leadership experience within an industrial environment
  • Background in manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil & gas, EPC, heavy industry, or similar sectors
  • Proven experience managing HR operations at a plant, site, or business-unit level
  • Strong expertise in labor relations and unionized workforce environments
  • Experience supporting technical and operational employee populations
  • Fluent Portuguese and professional English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in turnaround, restart-up, expansion, or transformation projects
  • Exposure to complex, multi-site, or multinational organizations
  • Familiarity with workforce development and training initiatives
