DescriptionPosition Summary

Position responsible for setting up and running various woodworking machines to produce casegoods stock.

Position Details

Sets up and operates various woodworking equipment, including but not limited to cutoff saw, ripsaw, bandsaw, and planer
Identifies appropriate wood species such as maple, ash, mahogany and walnut
Sets up and operates auto glue reel & hand operated glue reel
Uses tape measure to verify accurate measurements of the wood
Travels to lumber yard as needed
Follows all safety policies & procedures

QualificationsPosition Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous Rough Mill Machine Operator experience preferred
Must be able to read Route Sheets
Must be able to read a ruler
Must be able to set up & run various woodworking machines

Must be able to stand continuously throughout shift

Must be walk, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull, grasp and bend over the course of 8 hours

Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance

Must be able to lift at least 5 pounds up to 75 pounds regularly, seeking assistance if needed
