DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be trained in managing individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring access points, investigating accidents.
• Submit complete and detailed reports as required, recording observations, information and occurrences throughout shift.
• Follow procedures specific to each location, building professional relationships with facility staff and visitors.
• Monitor visitors as required by facility, such as logging visits with a signature, searching bags for dangerous items/contraband, or asking them to walk through a metal detector.
• Remain aware of shift and facility assignments, understanding possible schedule changes are sometimes necessary.
• Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CLEET licensed required
• Strong conflict management skills
• CPR certification, First Aid, and self-defense training are advantageous
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills; familiarity with report writing
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally, making immediate decisions
