SUMMARY

Under direction of Sanitation Manager, performs proper cleaning of all production bins and lids effectively and efficiently. Keeps work station area in a clean and orderly condition as directed. Other duties may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate bin washer.
Pressure wash lids by hand.
Set up lug washing area for cleaning.
Clean the machine and water tank at the end of each shift, using cleaning chemicals.
Maintain a clean work area.
Know the production demands.
Execute bin inspections.
Supports M/L Raisin receiving when needed.
Clear jams in the machine safely
Light maintenance.
Perform scheduled PMs.
Performs other duties relating to the overall effort as directed.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Completes records as necessary clearly and legibly.
Knows and follows Company GMP’s.
Knows and follows Company Food Safety Policies.
Knows and understands the HACCP Policy for the production area.
Reads and knows the MSDSs.

SANITATION

Keeps work area clean and orderly using cleaning solutions and utensils designated for the task.

SAFETY

Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and safe work practices in assigned area, including following written procedures
Must be familiar with safe machine operations where machinery must be cleaned while running and follow lock out/tag out procedures.
Knows and Follows Company Safety Procedures.

Requisite Skills/Qualifications

Must be a self-starter and motivated.
Must be able to think on their feet.
Must be able to work under a timeline and meet that timeline.
Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Ability to keep focus under stressful situations.
Must set an example for company values.
Must be able to work regularly scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including weekends if needed to meet company goals.
Must lift-up to 50lbs.
Successfully operates double fork industrial lift truck.
Forklift operator certified.
Supports and assist other areas as needed.
