Structural Steel Welder - 2nd shift

We are seeking full-time Structural Steel Welders to join our 2nd Shift. Responsibilities include

• Perform welding operations using MIG welding processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
• Set up welding equipment and maintain proper safety protocols
• Inspect materials, structures, and products to ensure quality standards are met
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications
• Maintain welding equipment and work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment

• These positions do include overtime; our second shift schedule is Monday through Friday 5pm to 4:30am, and Saturday 5pm to 10pm.
• We do offer a $2 per hour shift differntial.

We would like to hear from you if you have the following

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Safety conscious
• Have good attendance
• Able to work overtime
• Have knowledge of drawing language and symbols (for Fitter position)
• Are able to use steel hand working tools
• Previous welding experience preferred
• Pass a welders certification test
• Have the ability to safely operate overhead cranes
• Knowledge of minor welding machine maintenance is helpful
• Knowledge of oxy/acetylene torches and measuring devices, i.e. tapes, squares and levels
