Specialist Planner / Technical Manager for Standing Seam

About The Role

Study of specifications and summarising BEMO related information for the tender department in a BOQ
Preparation of detail and alignment drawings during the offer stage
Preparation of presentations and case studies
Preparation of project specifications and tenders
Coordination of technical requirements between the clients and the technical headquarter in Germany
Independently preparing shop and installation drawings (2D & 3D) using AutoCAD and Rhino
Developing construction details for facade and roof cladding - including all substructures - while accounting for structural engineering, building physics and project related requirements
Reading, reviewing, and interpreting structural analyses and building physics verification reports
Generating cut- and parts lists, material take-offs etc. for the production of the systems
Preparation of quality control data sheets for the production
Liaising directly with contractors, site managers and architects
Helping shape new planning standards and advancing digital planning methods

A successfully completed degree in Architecture, Facade Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field
Alternatively, completed vocational training followed by advanced qualification as a master craftsman or technician (e.g., construction technician, facade technician, or similar)
Experience in shop and installation planning, ideally in roofing and/or facades within the metal construction or building envelope sectors
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Basics in REVIT and IFC
Knowledge of Rhino and/or Grasshopper is an advantage for later steps into 3D design
Strong technical understanding of materials (metal), manufacturing feasibility, and building physics
Confident with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
A structured, independent approach to work
Good written and spoken English skills
An interest in computational design and new digital tools; enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges and developing creative, pragmatic solutions
