About The Role
Job Description & Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Guidewire applications to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Guidewire Insurance Suite implementations through rigorous testing and validation activities. Job Position Title: IN_ Senior Associate_Guidewire QA Engineer _One cloud_Advisory_Bangalore Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter modules. Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing of Guidewire applications. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Functional Consultants to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability. Participate in reviews of requirement documents, design documents, and test deliverables. Validate data integrity and perform database validations related to Guidewire workflows. Assist in automating test cases using automation tools (if applicable). Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during production deployment. Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices within the QA team. Continuously learn and stay updated on Guidewire platform features and enhancements. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Hands-on experience in testing Guidewire Insurance Suite products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) – 4 to 7 years preferred. Understanding of Guidewire data model, workflows, business rules, and integration points. Good knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test case preparation, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies. Hands-on experience in writing detailed test cases based on functional requirements. Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation. Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, QC, or equivalent. Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Mandatory skill sets: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Hands-on experience in testing Guidewire Insurance Suite products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) – 4 to 7 years preferred. Understanding of Guidewire data model, workflows, business rules, and integration points. Years of experience required: · 4- 7 years Education qualification: · BE/ Btech/ Mtech/ MCA/ MBA (fulltime)
