Our automation solutions, driven by dexterous robotic hands and cutting edge AI trained on human observations, bring a new level of AI embodiment to the real <world.As> a Robotics Engineer, Model Deployment, you will bring mimic's AI capabilities to new robotic platforms and customer environments. You will work directly with robotics customers to integrate our models, optimize their software and robotics stack, and drive the technical changes required for successful deployment.Working across AI, robotics, and software, you will own technical integrations from initial planning through deployment. You will also help build scalable tooling and workflows that make our AI capabilities easier to deploy, monitor, and improve across different robotic platformsResponsibilitiesIntegrate and deploy mimic's AI models on different robotic platforms and hardware stacksAdapt our software, training, and deployment stack to new robots, sensors, and environmentsWork directly with customer engineering teams to integrate and optimize their robotics stackDiagnose AI, software, and robotics integration issues and drive them to resolutionBuild scalable tooling and workflows for deploying, monitoring, and improving our modelsDefine technical requirements and implement features that improve model productizationOwn deployment planning and execution, coordinating across customers and internal teamsTranslate deployment learnings into improvements for our AI, robotics, and product stackTrack deployment performance and communicate progress and technical risks to stakeholdersRequirementsMaster’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical fieldStrong robotics background and a very good understanding of physical AI and robotics systemsExcellent software engineering skills, with the ability to design, implement, and test robust solutionsStrong Python skills and experience with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorchExperience deploying AI/ML systems on real robotic hardwareGood understanding of AI training methods, data pipelines, and model evaluationAbility to build repeatable and scalable solutions rather than one-off integrationsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work across AI, software, and roboticsStrong ownership and ability to independently plan and execute technical deploymentsExcellent communication skills and confidence working directly with technical customersFluent EnglishWillingness to travel for customer deployments and technical workshopsDriving Licence (B)Nice to haveFamiliarity with modern robot learning approaches (imitation learning, reinforcement learning, diffusion policies, foundation models)Experience with robotic manipulation, ROS/ROS2, robot control systems, or simulation environmentsExperience integrating AI models with robotic hardware platformsFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)Compensation & BenefitsWe offer a total compensation package including a competitive yearly base salary and a strong stock option package to make you part of our shared <success.You> will have the opportunity to shape a robotics & AI company from the ground up.
