Thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars, and coffee shops across the Netherlands, UK, and more countries soon, love running on Tebi.About the Role:In this role, you will guide the team responsible for developing our core application, which is built on Kotlin Multiplatform. The app powers essential operations across the Point-of-Sale, kitchen, and dining floor for restaurant staff. We are driven by the belief that hospitality deserves superior technology with solutions that unify operations, save time, and support business growth while preserving what makes each venue unique.This role sits between leadership and hands-on building. You won't just set the technical direction, you’ll dive into the code alongside your team. You'll bridge the gap between product vision and technical execution to build a fast, ultra-reliable product that handles the high-pressure environment of modern hospitality.What You'll Do:Lead and grow a very senior team of App Engineers, and holding the bar on quality and craftDrive the app roadmap and translate business priorities into a shippable plan, in close partnership with product and designDrive architecture decisions across native and cross-platform code, balancing speed today with maintainability tomorrowBuild a strong engineering culture by mentoring your team, championing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional <partners.Run> the day-to-day of the team: 1:1s, planning, hiring, and performance feedbackActively contribute to our product roadmap by shipping featuresWhat You'll Bring:7+ years of professional experience as a mobile engineer and at least 2+ years of experience in leadership rolesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProven experience managing engineering teams as a people manager, ideally in a fast-moving product companyStrong technical background in iOS or Android, or cross-platform mobile development, with the judgment to guide architecture decisionsComfort with ambiguity and the ability to set direction without waiting for perfect informationBenefits:Start-up EquityCompetitive SalaryLunch Provided in OfficeTeam building eventsUnlimited time offNote: Interviews will start after the 14th of September.What is Restaurant Software?Restaurants and other merchants use various software systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Reservations, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), Payments, Inventory, Staffing, and the list goes on.
