Ensure the material supply& services meeting targeted quantity and timeline without shortage, excess or obsolete by proactively working with planners or requestors; take active action to de-risk future material supply by building constructive relationship with suppliers and clearly understanding suppliers’ constrains such as capacity or material or yield issue etc; conduct price and payment term negotiation periodically with suppliers, as well as supplier VMI related negotiations; source new supplier for necessary material or services when needed; conduct quarterly supplier performance appraisal; joint with QA Dept to solve quality problem with supplier and request for continuous improvement; payment follow-up; early involvement in NPI stage; lead cost down projects and workflow optimization projects, other work arranged by superiors.
