Title: Construction Estimator (Heavy Equipment, Metal Studs, Brick/Block, Masonry)Employment Type: Full-Time, RemoteCompensation: $1,500–$2,500/month, depending on experienceLocation: Latin AmericaWorking Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week; 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CTExperience Level: Mid to Senior — 3–10+ yearsAbout the CompanyOur client is a US-based commercial construction operation looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to support project estimating and increase the efficiency and accuracy of its pre-construction workflow.The ideal candidate is highly comfortable working with US construction drawings, specifications, and estimating standards, and can independently manage detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates using industry-standard software.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Construction Estimator with 3–10+ years of hands-on experience estimating US-based commercial construction <projects.You> will be responsible for performing detailed digital takeoffs, reviewing construction documents, developing accurate cost estimates, and supporting multiple commercial construction scopes. This role requires strong technical drawing interpretation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within established estimating systems and <workflows.You> will work directly with US-based business owners and project managers, so strong English communication and professionalism are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed digital quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projectsPrepare accurate material, labor, and overall project cost estimatesReview and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scope documentsIdentify project requirements, exclusions, scope gaps, and potential estimating risksPerform takeoffs and estimates across specialized commercial construction scopes, including:Heavy equipmentMetal studs and metal framingBrick and block masonryStucco and exterior finishesOther commercial construction trades as requiredUse industry-standard estimating platforms such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and On-Screen Takeoff (OST)Organize and manage estimating workflow according to client systems and processesCoordinate with US-based business owners and project managers regarding project scope and requirementsMeet estimating deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracyReview estimates for completeness and accuracy before submissionAdapt to different project types, scopes, and client-specific estimating proceduresRequired Qualifications3–10+ years of direct construction estimating experienceDemonstrated experience estimating US-based construction projectsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldStrong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documentsAdvanced proficiency with estimating software such as:BluebeamPlanSwiftOn-Screen Takeoff (OST)Strong understanding of US construction standards and estimating practicesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to estimate accuracyFully fluent English, both written and verbalStrong organizational, analytical, and time-management skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating directly with US-based clientsDedicated availability for 40 hours/week during US Central Time business hoursPreferred QualificationsExperience estimating complex commercial construction projectsStrong background in multiple trade scopes, particularly:Heavy equipmentStructural masonryMetal studs/framingBrick and blockStucco and exterior finishesExperience working directly with US contractors, project managers, general contractors, or business ownersExperience working within multiple client-specific estimating systems and workflowsProven ability to handle high-volume estimating with quick turnaround requirementsWhat Will Make You Stand OutStrong hands-on experience with complex commercial scope takeoffsAbility to move quickly without compromising estimate accuracyAdvanced knowledge of Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and/or OSTSolid understanding of US construction methods, materials, and pricingExperience estimating multiple scopes rather than being limited to a single tradeDemonstrated ability to identify scope discrepancies and potential cost issues before an estimate is submittedExperience supporting US-based construction teams remotelyClient & Team EnvironmentDirect and practicalEfficiency-focused and results-orientedValues accuracy, speed, and reliabilityWorks closely with US-based business owners and project managersUses established estimating systems and technology to streamline project workflowsExpects team members to take ownership of their estimates and deliver consistently accurate workNon-NegotiablesCivil Engineering degree or equivalent strong structural/construction backgroundDemonstrated experience with US construction standards and estimating practicesHands-on experience with professional estimating softwareFluent English communication — written and verbal3+ years of construction estimating experienceFull-time, dedicated remote availabilityAbility to work during US Central Time business hoursReliable remote setup and ability to work independently
