The Role

IonQ is looking for a Sales Enablement Lead to support our Quantum Networking & Security portfolio, spanning networking devices, secure networking solutions, and next generation security technologies.

This role sits within the Product Marketing organization and serves as the bridge between go-to-market strategy and field execution. You will transform positioning, messaging, product knowledge, and market insights into practical sales plays, enablement programs, and customer-facing assets that help sales teams engage confidently with technical and executive buyers.

This is a hands-on enablement role, focused on translating complex technologies into practical guidance and usable assets that improve sales effectiveness across diverse products and markets.

Responsibilities

Own sales readiness and field activation for Networking & Security product launches, ensuring sellers have the training, tools, messaging, and support required to successfully bring new offerings to market.

Develop and maintain sales playbooks, messaging frameworks, and core enablement materials that support consistent, high-quality customer interactions

Translate product, solution, and technical concepts into clear, sales-ready narratives and tools

Support the adoption of value-based and outcome-driven selling approaches across sales teams

Design and deliver sales training and readiness programs, including onboarding and ongoing enablement

Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and Solutions teams to ensure technical accuracy and messaging consistency

Measure and improve sales readiness, content adoption, and enablement effectiveness across the networking and security portfolio.

Maintain the quality, relevance, and accessibility of enablement content over time

Act as a feedback bridge from the field, surfacing gaps in messaging, positioning, or readiness

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, or Technical GTM roles

Familiarity with complex, technology-driven environments

Ability to understand and simplify technical concepts for different audiences

Experience supporting enterprise or technical sales motions

Proven track record of building enablement that sales teams actually use

Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams

Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity. Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
