R&D Technicians/Engineers

About Us

Ytsab Defence AB is a cutting-edge Swedish defence technology company specializing in electromagnetic weapon systems. We are involved in multiple EU-funded research projects, including projects under the European Defence Fund (EDF). We are now expanding our team with 2–3 skilled individuals to support our growing R&D and lab operations.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking hands-on, curious, and driven team members with the following qualifications

• Education and/or experience in electronics (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, applied physics)
• Ability to write clear technical reports and documentation for EU-funded projects (in English)
• Flexibility and creativity to work with experimental setups and problem-solving in the lab
• Practical skills – confident with tools, measurements, soldering, setups, and testing
• Bonus: Experience with EU projects, military technologies, or prototyping environments

Your Role Will Include

• Supporting R&D activities in our lab (testing, setup, diagnostics)
• Documenting tests, writing internal and EU project reports
• Assisting with experimental trials, assembling components, and troubleshooting
• Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and international partners
