Ogden DMV Motor Vehicle Technician

Job Duties As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will: Issue license plates, permits, registrations, certificates, etc. Receive, research, and respond to incoming questions or complaints; provide information, explain policy and procedures, and/or facilitate a resolution. Process transactions at a Point of Sale system, give correct change, and close the cash drawer at the end of the shift. Assist the public and others to complete forms, applications, and other paperwork. Examine documents to verify applicability, legibility, completeness, accuracy, and/or consistency of information from one document to another, etc. Communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, in writing and/or verbally; read and understandinformation presentedin writing. Perform comprehensive physical inspection of motor vehicles to verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
