Data Center Specialist Electrical Engineer (Bangkok Office)

Misión

The Specialist Electrical Engineer will take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex electrical engineering systems for data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a consultancy design firm and at least 2 years of hands-on experience working specifically on data center projects. The role demands a proactive, technically sound, and detail-oriented professional who can coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and deliver innovative, reliable solutions.

What will be your responsibilities?

Lead the design and development of electrical systems (LV, MV, HV) for data centers, ensuring compliance with international and local standards.

Produce engineering designs, calculations, and technical specifications using industry-standard software.

Oversee and review the preparation of electrical drawings and documentation.

Liaise with clients, architects, and other design consultants to develop coordinated solutions.

Participate in technical and project meetings with clients and stakeholders.

Provide site support during construction stages, including inspections and issue resolution.

Ensure that designs meet performance, sustainability, reliability, and safety requirements of mission-critical infrastructure. Support the mentoring and technical development of junior engineers and technicians.

Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality output.

Uphold QA, Health & Safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

This is the profile we are looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a consultancy design firm is mandatory.

Minimum 2 years of experience in data center electrical systems design.

Working knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, TIA-942, ASHRAE, etc.).

Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Amtech, or similar.

Strong understanding of data center electrical infrastructure including power distribution, redundancy, UPS systems, generators, grounding, and lighting.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Ability to work independently and lead coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
