The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership.

Essential Duties

Deliveries and Pickups: Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors. Pick up parts and equipment from these locations, coordinating with the Parts Manager and Parts Counter before leaving.

Documentation: Complete a log at the time of delivery and obtain the recipient’s signature.

End-of-Day Routine: Unload the truck each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.

Department Maintenance: Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.

Vehicle Upkeep: Ensure the basic upkeep of the truck, including checking the oil with each fill-up and ensuring the truck is lubricated the first week of each month.

Qualifications

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Ability to use a computer and calculator.
Will be trained in the parts department’s computer inventory system.
Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts.
Professional personal appearance.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work 7:30am-3:30pm Monday Through Friday.
