DescriptionCenturion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Graham Correctional Center located in Hillsboro, Illinois.

$32.01/hr

The Physical Therapy Assistant reports to the Physical Therapist. This person will promote and maintain health by providing physical therapy services within a team approach, providing quality care in a secure setting. Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, this person will implement care plans for incarcerated individuals for rehabilitation. Additionally, this person will help mentally and/or physically impaired individuals with tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.

Full Time; Day shift 8a-4p Mon-Friday

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Current/Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Illinois
At least one year of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
Experience working in corrections/ behavioral health preferred
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
