Description POSITION: Adjunct Faculty

DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Intensive English Program (IEP)

PAY RANGE: $450 - $1,300 per semester credit hour (SCH). Faculty are contracted per SCH. Actual compensation within this range is determined by factors including academic credentials, relevant professional experience, discipline, and course enrollment. Courses with lower enrollment may be prorated within this range in accordance with university policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The IEP is a multi-ethnic, multinational organization with a staff and student body whose native cultures span five continents and over 25 countries. All instructors serve as a part of the IEP faculty for the duration of their contracts. Responsibilities include teaching a minimum of one class either two or four days a week in person, plus requisite preparation and grading. Instructors are also expected to assist with exit exams, IEP-wide activities, attend faculty meetings, and any other responsibilities loaded in with their contract.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience in TESOL or language education necessary; Master’s degree in TESOL or related field is preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: This adjunct position is part time and non-benefit eligible.

APPOINTMENT DATE: Fall term classes begin on September 1, 2026.
