Dockman (Intracoastal City)

Description

• Load and discharge liquid cargo to and from docks, vessels, trucks, tote tanks, and shore tanks.
• Perform tankering/bunkering operations.
• Complete and submit paperwork, including sales tickets, daily reports, and the like in a timely manner.
• Offload trash and used oil filters from vessels.
• Update job logs on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
• Operate a forklift.
• Maintain equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Track inventory.
• Repackage inventory.
• Work without supervision.
• Use a computer.
• Adhere to and comply with company and safety policies, United States Coast Guard Regulations, and environmental laws and regulations.4

Qualifications

• At Least 18 Years of Age.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Reliable Transportation to and from Work.
• High School Diploma (or its equivalent).
• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Basic Computer Skills.
• At Least Six Months of Heavy Manual-Labor Work Experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with Person-in-Charge (PIC) endorsement and Dangerous Liquids (DL) endorsement.
• Work experience as a Dockman, Deckhand, or Tankerman (or similar experience).
• Physical Requirements: All offers of employment are conditioned on passing a drug screen and a fit-for-duty physical examination.
